The Atlantis Trans-Atlantic Degree Program
Arising out of a joint U.S. Government – European Union effort to build the next generation of transatlantic policy specialists, the Atlantis Transatlantic Dual Degree Program is a unique opportunity, offering a hybrid of study in both the United States and within the European Union.
With four different degree options spanning three academic institutions, the program provides students the flexibility to choose the combination that best suits their educational and professional needs.
As a cohort, students spend the first year of the program at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations or a Master of Public Administration degree.
Students begin their second year in Europe, completing work towards a Master in Public Policy degree at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany or a Master in Development Studies at Erasmus University’s International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, Netherlands.
